Artelia Keen Easterling, 94, passed away May 20, 2016, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a resident of Angie and a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church in Bogalusa.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda E. Pigott (Virgil) of Angie; one brother, Willard Keen of Bogalusa; one sister, Bernice Jones of Bogalusa; one granddaughter, LaWanna Leigh Pigott-Crutcher (James) of South Houston, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Jami Kristine Piggott, Isabel Crutcher and Mikey Crutcher.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Evan Easterling; parents, Joe and Ola Kirkland Keen; and numerous other brothers and sisters.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 22, in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation continued Monday, May 23, from 8 a.m. until services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial was in Hillview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Field Thigpen officiated.
