Mary F. Alford, a resident of Franklinton, LA, born March 9, 1936, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA at the age of 80.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Jean Alford of Abita Springs, LA and Vickie (Marcus) Mapes of Franklinton, LA; one brother, David Fox of Hattiesburg, MS; one sister, Marion Thurston of England; three grandchildren, Monica (Micah) McDonald Hooge, Todd (Karen) McDonald, and Joshua Scott (Charlene) Jenkins; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Densil Alford and her second husband, Joseph Alford.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.
