Bertha Mae Miller

Bertha Mae Miller, born Feb. 18, 1939, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2016, at the age of 77. She was a long time resident of Bogalusa and was a member of the Central Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves behind two sons, Kurt Miller and his wife Elisha of Bogalusa, and Karl Miller and his wife Brenda of Pine; a daughter, Patricia “Patsy” Flynn and her husband Jimmy of Streetsboro, Ohio; a brother, Woodrow Freeman of Tennessee; two sisters, Pauline Cotton and Shirley Penton both of Pine; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Ophelia Freeman; and her beloved husband, Arnold Edward Miller.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will resume Thursday morning after 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. The services will be conducted by Elder Doyle Ball and assisted by the Rev. Jimmy Miller. Interment will follow in the Central Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
