Mr. Rentis West passed away at the age of 74 on Monday, July 25, 2016, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Marlon West; three daughters, Katherine Gatlin, Vickie Bickham and Rhonda Odonal; three sisters, Maxine Rone, Ozzie Connigham, and Audrey Jason; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Irene Dyson West and Norman West; and one brother, Norman West Jr.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Mt. Hermon with Rev. Clifford Minor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
