James Edward Magee was born on Sept. 2, 1955, to Jesse Magee and Claudie Barns Magee, and passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at Heritage Manor in Franklinton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the chapel of Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Franklinton. The funeral service will immediately follow.
