Varnado defeats Ridgewood in District 8-1A home contest

Varnado’s Wildcats captured a 59-25 win over Ridgewood in Thursday’s District 8-1 contest that took place at Varnado.
Errol Varnado scored 12 points to lead the Wildcats.
He was the only Wildcat in double figures, but others came close.
Andre Jones, Damon Kirsh and Jadarrious Magee tallied eight points apiece, while JaKyle Newkirk had seven. Armontee Kemp finished with six points, Gary Crumedy had four and Ardarryl McGowan added two. Kirsh knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.
