Thomas Christopher Creel, born Oct. 10, 1966, passed away Jan. 27, 2017, at Riverside Medical Center at the age of 50.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Crouch of Houma, and Emile Joseph Trahan of LaPlace; three daughters, Jennifer Christin Patterson of Mont Bel Vieu, Texas, Katherine Paige Patterson of Avondale, and Juanita Leeann Patterson of New Orleans; his father, T.C. Creel Jr.; three brothers, Bobby Morris Creel of Athens, Tenn., Johnathon Wayne (Jeanie) Creel of Cleveland, Tenn., and Samuel Floyd Creel, also of Cleveland; three sisters, Rebecca Lynn Creel of Cleveland, Tebecca Ann (Mike) Belanger of Houma, and Tammy Elmira and Robert Crowden of Cleveland; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Francis Granger Callanan; grandparents, Floyd Morris Granger, Rebecca Bennett Granger Dunaway and T.C. Creel Sr.; and grandmother and step-grandfather, Dixie Elmira and Thomas Passman.

A memorial was scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18, beginning at noon, with the service at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Joe Rozelle officiating the services.
