Pine victorious over Loranger
Pine’s Raiders continued its strong offense with a 10-4 victory over Loranger on the road Tuesday.
Luke Fonda collected four hits in four at-bats. Two of the hits were doubles and he drove in three runs and scored twice. Ethan Knight had three hits that included a home run and a double. Knight posted three RBIs and two runs scored.
Kendall Sheridan went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored.
Tate Roach, Rion Terrell, Dakota Brooks and Chris Mayeaux had a hit each. Roach scored twice while Terrell drove in a run and Mayeaux posted an RBI and a run scored.
Blaine Polk scored a run for the Raiders.
Terrell was the winning pitcher after allowing four runs — all unearned — on seven hits with two strikeouts and two walks over 4-2/3 innings. Morris threw a hitless inning with a strikeout and a hit batter for the save.

Bowling Green falls to Silliman
Bowling Green School suffered a 10-0 loss to Silliman Institute in a District 5AAA game held Wednesday on the road. Andy Bienvenu doubled and Cameron Cowart singled.
