Janet Suzette Thomas, 34, passed away on March 31, 2017, while she slept at home.
She was born on Feb. 15, 1983, and was a lifetime resident of Varnado.
The angels came and took her hand and said come with us; your struggle on earth is over.
She is survived by a daughter, Destinee Thomas; two sons, Justin Thomas and Kameron Thomas; her father, Mike Thomas; one sister, Ashley Thomas; and a very special nephew, Bentley Thomas, who she loved holding in her bed with her.
She is also survived by two aunts, Gladys (Tim) Dillon and Mona Magee; an uncle, Billy Ray (Beverly) Freeman; special cousins, Jenna Freeman, Kevin Freeman and Jacob Freeman, all of Varnado; grandparents, Billy and Jean Boyte; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Thomas; brother, Micheal Ray Thomas; grandparents, Billy Ray and Janice Freeman; great-grandparents, Carl and Gladys Fornea and Julie Freeman; cousin, Denny Day Magee; and a very special uncle, Dennis Magee.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8. Interment will be at the Freeman Cemetery in Varnado. Sis. Kathy Pfleider and Bro. Travis Houston will officiate.
Pallbearers will be her cousins, Cody Spears, Josh Spears, Man Fornea, Benji Hartzog, Brian Dunn and Tom Freeman.
