Willie Fae Hodges

Willie Fae Hodges, 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at his residence in Angie. He was born on Jan. 5, 1943, in Varnado.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly (Frederick) Smith and Jesse (Shelley) Hodges, both of Bogalusa, Rhonda (Rocky) Sanders, Bonnie (John) Brooks, Theresa (Andy) Aultman, all of Mississippi, Willie Jay (Lynn) Hodges of Silver Creek, Miss., Willie Ray Hodges of Arizona, and David (Nancy) Hodges of Shelburne Falls, Mass.; sisters, Brenda (Eddie) Newsom of Bogalusa, and Mary (Ken) Hamilton of Florida; brothers, Ray (Gladys) Hodges of Silver Creek, and Steve (Linda) Hodges of New Hebron, Miss.; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Hodges; his daughters, Katie Sumrall and Carol Anita Hodges; his son, Kevin Hodges; his mother, Vondora Hodges; his father, Ephrum Wilbur Hodges; and a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn (Oscar) McCain.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 27, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 28, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ray Hodges officiating. Interment will follow at Hodges Cemetery.
