Five Franklinton tennis players have qualified for the Division II state tournament, which begins tomorrow at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe.
In the boys, Joshua Gubert advanced to state in the singles and will play his first round match tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m.
In doubles, Raif Branch and Aaron Ignacek are competing tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m.
Two Franklinton girls made it to state in singles matches.
Ashlyn Ard is in action tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. In a separate match, Gabrielle Webb is also playing at 8 a.m.
The first three rounds take place at Bayou DeSiard Country Club. The semifinals and final are at University of Louisiana at Monroe.
