Floye Richardson

Floye Talley Richardson, a resident of Bogalusa, died peacefully in her home on July 8, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Milo Talley, and Maude Terry Galloway Talley of Isabel.
She is survived by her four daughters, Arnell Stewart of Madisonville, Judy Little of Bogalusa, Joan Richardson of Carrollton, Texas, and Jeanette Richardson of Bogalusa; four grandchildren, Stacey Stewart Moore of Bogalusa, Shawna Stewart Shranks (Rod Shranks) of Madisonville, Joseph Ditcharo of Bogalusa, and Zack Little (Tiffany Little) of Mandeville; and one brother, Travis Talley of Isabel; eight great- grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson “Boozam” Richardson; two sisters, Gwen Talley Adams and Colleen Talley Hall Moran; and one brother, Talmadge Talley.
Visitation will be held at Palestine Baptist Church, on Wednesday, July 12, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and Thursday, July 13, at 9 a.m. with funeral services starting at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Camellia Home Health and Hospice for the compassionate care and love shown to their mother in her home and the excellent care given in her final days. Additionally, the family would like to recognize the love of their church family, Palestine Baptist Church, for their constant prayers and support.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Floye Richardson to the Palestine Baptist Church Building Fund.
