This past Monday was a big day for Ben’s Ford Christian School.

The Eagles junior varsity football team captured their district championship with a 38-6 win over Sylva-Bay Academy in a game that was made up from earlier in the season.

The victory capped off an 8-0 season.

Congratulations to the Ben’s Ford junior varsity team.

On the varsity level tonight, all six teams are in action. And if you don’t want to leave Washington Parish to see a game, you’re in luck, as all four local LHSAA teams are hosting opponents.

Franklinton is at home, playing Neville, while Bogalusa is hosting Loranger, Pine is facing Independence and Varnado is at home against St. Martin’s Episcopal.

All of those games, except for the Franklinton-Neville game, are district contests.

In MAIS games, Ben’s Ford Christian School closes out its regular season on the road against Sylva-Bay Academy while Bowling Green School travels to Simpson Academy.
