Lillie Cummings

Lillie Ladner Cummings, 92, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. She was born on Jan. 23, 1925, in Bogalusa.

She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth (Densel) Stewart of Henleyfield, Miss., Emma Lee (Harvey) Miller of Mt. Hermon, and Joyce Rita Irvine of Bogalusa; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Cummings; her son, Teddy Cummings; and her parents, Henry Clay Ladner and Lizzie Mae Lacey Ladner; and two sisters, Lucille Burch and Laura Mae Martin.

Graveside services were held at Pounds Cemetery on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Patrick Magee officiating.
