Bogalusa Mayor Wendy Perrette made an announcement during the city council meeting Tuesday that the city’s official “trick or treat” hours will be from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Drivers are urged to be aware that children will be out and about on the streets during those hours.

Parents are also advised to make sure their children’s costumes allow them to see clearly and don’t have any other safety concerns.

Franklinton’s official hours will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
