BHS Lumberjacks cruise past Albany

Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks were victorious over Albany, 63-34, in a District 7-3A game that took place last Friday at home.
Braedtrick Whittine led the Lumberjacks in scoring with 17 points.
He was one of three Bogalusa players to hit double figures.
D’Angelo Mark posted 11 points, which included a 3-pointer.
DaJuan Powell tallied 10 points and he knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.
Chance Turner and Dianté Lenoir posted seven each while Silas McGowan had five and Tyrese Rousell and Charles Taylor added two each in the victory. Turner and McGowan each hit a 3-pointer for Bogalusa.
Bogalusa has won three of its last five games and coach Randall Ginn said the team is playing with more confidence.
The Lumberjacks were scheduled to play Jewel Sumner at home on Tuesday, Jan. 16, but that game has been postponed until Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Bogalusa is back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 23, with a District 7-3A road game against Archbishop Hannan.
