Lady Eagles split games held Friday, Saturday

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles posted a 1-1 record in their games held Friday and Saturday, as both were at home.
The Lady Eagles captured Friday’s contest with a 56-18 victory over Christian Collegiate Academy and had balanced scoring.
Kayleigh Wheat led the team in scoring with 12 points to go with three rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.
Three players barely missed posting a double-double, including Celeste Crowe, Valerie Paige and Kelci Freeman.
Crowe tallied nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds along with two assists and three steals.
Paige recorded seven points and nine boards to go with three steals and a blocked shot.
Freeman had seven points and eight rebounds along with an assist and a steal.
Allison Forbes posted six points, six rebounds, two steals and three blocks.
AnnaBella Seal put up six points, two rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Bailey Stewart had four points, two boards and three steals.
Alaina McClelland posted three points, two boards, three steals and a blocked shot.
Dani Descant tallied two points.
Abby Smith had two boards, an assist and three steals while Allie Jacobs added a rebound in the victory.
On Saturday, the Lady Eagles lost to Amite School Center, 48-33.
McClelland led the team in points with nine to go with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Wheat posted six points, two rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot.
Freeman totaled five points, three rebounds, an assist and four steals.
Crowe scored four points, grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out an assist and made three steals.
Paige posted four points, six boards and two steals.
Stewart put up three points and three steals.
Smith recorded two points and two rebounds.
Lindsey McGehee added a rebound.
