Varnado’s Armontee Kemp scored 22 points and Gary Crumedy posted 18, helping the Wildcats to a 61-49 victory over West St. John to close out the regular season in a District 8-1A contest on the road Wednesday.
Kemp knocked down three 3-pointers and Crumedy was successful on all four of his free-throw attempts.
James Williams posted 11 points that included a 3-pointer.
Jadarrell Magee and Jeroderick Robinson had four each and Adrian Bickham added two in the victory.
