Good news at good times

Have you ever noticed that good news comes when we most need it? As an example, my husband Danny went to the doctor recently and ended up in the hospital. He didn’t want to make a big deal about it. But I knew that our daughter would be furious with us if her Papa was in the hospital and no one bothered to alert her.
So I fessed up, and told her, and she wanted to drive in all the way from Lake Charles. But she had an ulterior motive. She had some good news for us.
Brook is with child for the second time, and, unless I’m no longer a good judge of character, this husband truly loves our child.
It was just what Danny needed to carry on with his life. He has to wonder if it’s a boy or another glorious girl.
Yaaay! I’m going to be a grandmother again, and Danny is going to be a grandfather again. And this one is truly from a loving family, not a pretender. Not that our Izzy, who will tell anyone with ears to listen that she’s now a big 5 years old, will be any less special to us. She will be our firstborn, sweet doll baby forever.
I remember when Brookie first told us about Isabella coming. That was well timed, too. Danny had just undergone a bout with cancer and was on the road to recovery. We were both incredibly joyous.
Do you remember a time when you got good news when you really, really needed it? What was the news, and how did it help you? I believe that we all attract what we need, and that we can influence that through positive affirmations. I believe that our lives are not as arbitrary as we might imagine. I truly believe that we all have it in us to create the lives we want, and to let go of all doubt and anxiety. I believe that we are, by nature, powerful creators, and when we realize that it will unfold. I vow to teach that to our new baby, and I’ve already started teaching that truth to Izzy. Happiness is our birthright. Relaxation and serenity is always there for us. Just center yourself and regularly quiet your mind. I find that works best in a natural space.
