Ben’s Ford comes up short in extra innings on Tuesday

Ben’s Ford Christian School came up short to Lamar Christian School, 2-1, in eight innings on the road Saturday.
Ben’s Ford trailed 1-0 through six innings, but Jarvis Dawson tied the game in the seventh with a sacrifice fly to left that plated Jarrett Williams. Dawson reached on the play as the left fielder dropped the ball. Williams reached after getting hit by a pitch.
Both players recorded a hit.
Chase Penton and Isaac Wascom posted a hit each for Ben’s Ford.
