On Sunday, April 6, 2018, God sent his angels to Bogalusa to claim the soul of “Josie” Breaux. Her battle with sickness came to an end. When God said it is done I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end.
She was born Jan. 4, 1924, in Brookhaven, Miss., and departed this life at 94 years of age.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., followed by the family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at Thirkield United Methodist Church, located at 1108 Donnell St. in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Nolan Richardson, pastor, officiating.
She leaves the cherish her memory: one son, Frederic Douglas (Theresa Lynette) Breaux of Anaheim, Calif.; two grandsons, Sean Frederic Breaux of Los Angeles, Calif., and Malcolm Douglas Breaux of Fullerton, Calif.; and a daughter-in-law, Willie Belle Breaux of Bogalusa.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Breaux III and Errol Charles Breaux; and her mother, Ossie Sensley.
Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
