James “Milo” Henry Branch, 71, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington. He was born on May 25, 1946 in Tylertown, Miss.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Faye Branch of Bogalusa; a son, Jeffrey Branch (Shannon) of Wilmington, Del.; a daughter, Terri Freeman Jones (Billy) of Enon; two sisters, Gayle Cooper (Elder Clyde) of Pine, and Sandra Strahan of Gulfport, Miss.; a brother, Pat Branch (Cathy) of Pine; grandchildren, Jacob Freeman, Destyn Freeman, Kade Jones, Kinley Jones, Katlyn Jones, Daniel Branch, and Brian Branch; a great-grandchild, Jaxon Freeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Branch and Chinesey McKenzie Branch; and a brother, Michael Branch.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 25, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation continued at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services began at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Branch and the Rev. Harold Gaddy officiating. Interment followed at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
