Missionary Carolyn Ann Robertson Brumfield, a resident of Folsom, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018.
Brumfield leaves behind her loving husband, Elder Antoine F. Brumfield; two sons, Jermaine (Rachael) Brumfield of Mandeville, and Jamoul (Bethany) Brumfield of Poplarville, Miss.; a step-daughter, Rochelle Washington of Independence; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Lena Roberston (Jimmy) of Baton Rouge, Mae (Ernest) Wheat of Amite, and Augustine Cryer of Kentwood; two aunts, Liz Randolph of New Orleans, and Inez Abrams of Baton Rouge; one uncle, Felix Braxton of Portland, Ore.; one sister-in-law, Betty Talley of Folsom; two brothers-in-law, Sedrue Bickham and Larry Hamilton, both of Baton Rouge; two god-daughters, Serissa Bickham and S’tajia Bailey, both of Baton Rouge; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Emma Robertson; daughter, Sabrina Gatlin; four brothers, Charles, Percy, Jamie, and Carlos Robertson; father-in-law, Superintendent Relton D. Brumfield; three sisters-in-law, Mary Robertson, Annie Hamilton, and Dicie Bickham; and one brother-in-law, James Monroe Brumfield.
Visitation will be Friday, May 4, from 5 p.m. until the time of the Wake Service at 7 p.m. at Faith, Hope and Charity Church of God in Christ, in Folsom, with Elder Larry Bickham, officiating.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Faith, Hope, and Charity C.O.G.I.C. with Elder Antoine Brumfield, pastor, and Elder Anthony Cox, eulogist, officiating.
