Ralph Branch

Ralph Ray Branch passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at his residence in Bogalusa, at 83 years old. He was born in Mississippi on March 5, 1935.
He was a great family man and loving husband, father, and especially grandfather and a wonderful provider and caregiver to his family. He enjoyed attending Monroe Street Baptist Church and loved hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mrs. Betty Lynn Boyd Branch of Bogalusa; one son, Kendel (Alicia) Branch of Pine; his daughter, Brenda (James) Sullivan of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Maegan, Ashlee, Callie, and Dustin; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Mcinnis, Natalee, Draven, and Charlee; and one sister, Victoria Creel of Franklinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levy and Dollie Branch; one son, Dale R. Branch; and four brothers and four sisters.
Services for Mr. Branch were in the chapel at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, on Tuesday, July 24. Visitation began at 10 a.m. and continued until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Chad Jenkins and Elder Richard Magee officiated. Interment followed at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bogalusa.
