Troby Tate, a former resident of Franklinton and a current resident of New Orleans, passed away Jan. 15, 2019.

The visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Greater Liberty Baptist Church, 1230 Desire St. in New Orleans, with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., and Pastor Calvin Woods Jr. officiating. A final visitation will be held in Franklinton following the funeral service, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Washington St. in Franklinton.
