Larry “Bron” Watson passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Bessie Lee Watson; one sister, Brenda Jackson; and five brothers, Donald, Edward “Byrd”, Lawrence, Hilton and Woodie Watson.
He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: his two sons, Scottie Washington and Alaric Manning; one daughter, Tiviea L. Tatum, a devoted step daughter, Demetrius Brumfield; two sisters, Rita (J.W.) Hawthorne of Franklinton, Bess Lynette (Prince) Cockrell of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Geruin Watson of Franklinton, Sylvester (Patrice) Johnson of Houston; a sister-in-law, Quanita Watson; a special friend, Marie Baltrip, a loving caregiver, Warrine “Teedy” Bickham, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, April 5, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by a family hour from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The funeral service will be Saturday, April 6, at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ and Holiness with Elder Kevin Golden, pastor, and Elder Washington Drake officiating. Interment will be at Sweet Home Church Cemetery.
