Thursday was a historic day for Mt. Hermon School’s softball team.

The Lady Jackets captured a 13-2 victory over Simsboro in the bi-district round of the Class B playoffs.

The victory was the softball team’s first playoff win since at least 2002.

Several players had big games for the Lady Jackets.

Mt. Hermon plays in the regional round of the postseason against Castor in a road game at 5 p.m. Monday.
