The Lakeshore Summer Basketball League tips off on Tuesday.
Bogalusa is the only team from Washington Parish competing in the league.
Games take place at Lakeshore and Fontainebleau High School gyms.
Bogalusa opens the league with a pair of games on Tuesday at Lakeshore.
The Lumberjacks play against Lakeshore at 3 p.m. and Bay High at 5 p.m.
Games have a couple of rules different from standard play.
Contests feature a pair of 20-minutes halves with a running clock until the 1-minute mark. At the 1-minute mark, standard clock operation rules go into affect.
The rule different from standard play deals with shooting fouls. For shooting fouls, players get one free throw that is worth the amount of points the shot was worth, so the shot will be worth either two or three points.
