Washington Parish Golf League completed its 2nd tourney Monday

The second week of the Washington Parish Golf League took place Monday at the Franklinton Country Club.
The competition featured about 14 golfers.
Jackson Barretine was victorious in the boys’ 10-12 year old age group.
Alex Brock was second.
Jeremy Bryant won the 13-15s.
Rece Dillon was the winner for the 16-18s.
Payton Sumrall was second with Tyler Stafford coming in third place.
In the girls, Taylor Jarrell won the tournament.
Madison Lott was runner-up.
“It was another great turnout and the kids are having a lot of fun,” League Director and Bowling Green School golf coach Aaron Lott said.
The league has two more tournaments on July 8 and 22 and is open to any Washington Parish resident between the ages of 10 and 18.
All tournaments are at the Franklinton Country Club.
