Mr. Wallace Clay Walker passed away at the age of 59 on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
Wallace Clay Walker was born Oct. 16, 1959 in Austin, Texas, to Wallace and Emma Walker.
Wallace Clay Walker was an employee at the Town of Franklinton for over 12 years.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: a devoted wife, Kathy R. Walker and to this union two daughters were born, Carnesiha Walker of Lafayette, and Timisiha Walker of Hammond; mother, Emma Walker of Franklinton; one sister, Lee Alice Cain of Bogalusa; two brothers, Hilbert (Ruth) Walker, and Steven (Veronica) Walker, all of Franklinton; mother and father-in-law, Winzlo (Carnell) Tate of Franklinton; one sister-in-law, Kenneth (Edith) Warren; five brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Nettie) Tate, Cedric Tate, Alton Tate, Curtis Bickham of Franklinton, Winzlo Tate Jr. of Slidell; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Walker; two brothers, Orell Walker and Levern Walker; a stepbrother, Bill Walker and one sister-in-law, Denise Bickham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerome Warren, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at the Greater Hayes Cemetery.
