The upcoming election on taxes is one of importance. These taxes are just renewals — nothing else. These renewals have been in place for years and provide certain services provided by the City of Bogalusa.

Voting for these renewals is the right thing to do. I must say I am sided with the mayor on this one as she has asked the citizens to vote yes. I ask you the voter on Election Day to approve these renewals while you’re out casting your vote on important issues that will be on the ballot.
