Lady Bucs compete in games held recently

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers lost to Madison-Ridgeland Academy, defeated Silliman Institute and had setbacks against Jackson Academy, Simpson Academy and Parklane Academy in games held Nov. 9, Nov. 12, Nov. 16, Nov. 18 and Nov. 22.
On Nov. 9, Bowling Green suffered a 74-46 loss to Madison-Ridgeland Academy on the road.
KaKa Seal and Macey Jones tied to lead the Lady Buccaneers in points with nine each. Seal recorded three assists and a steal. Seal made a 3-pointer.
Jones blocked three shots.
Allie McCain tallied eight points, five rebounds and two assists.
Bailey Duvall posted six points, three boards and four assists.
Hope Crowe recorded six points. Crowe made two 3-pointers.
Kyley Seals had four points, a rebound, three assists and she blocked a shot.
Merci Ray put up two points and a steal.
Anna Claire Crowe had two points and two rebounds.
Allie Schilling grabbed two boards and Lacie Penton had one.
The Nov. 12 game was a victory over Silliman Institute, 52-40, at home.
McCain led Bowling Green in scoring with 17 points. McCain pulled down two rebounds, dished out two assists, made a steal and she blocked two shots. McCain made two 3-pointers.
Hope Crowe posted 15 points, two rebounds, three assists, three steals and she blocked a shot. Crowe was successful on four 3-pointers.
Duvall recorded seven points, five boards, four assists, three steals and she blocked a shot.
Seals tallied six points, four boards, two steals, an assist and she blocked a shot.
Seal recorded six points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Schilling scored a point and had a rebound.
Anna Claire Crowe had a rebound.
Saturday’s game was a 54-39 loss to Jackson Academy at home.
Seals posted 13 points to top Bowling Green. Seals, who made a 3-pointer, tallied four rebounds, three assists, two steals and she blocked two shots.
Duvall had 12 points, five boards, three assists, three steals and she blocked a shot.
Jones recorded six points, three boards, an assist and she blocked a pair of shots.
Hope Crowe had four points that included a 3-pointer, to go with two steals.
Seal put up two points along with a rebound, two assists and a steal.
McCain logged two points, two boards and a steal.
Anna Claire Crowe had an assist and a steal.
Nov. 18’s road game was a 51-38 loss to Simpson Academy.
Duvall was Bowling Green’s leading scorer with 14 points. Duvall made a 3-pointer, grabbed five rebounds, dished out an assist, made two steals and she blocked a shot.
Seals posted 10 points to go with three boards, an assist and a steal.
McCain tallied six points, seven boards and an assist.
Hope Crowe finished with five points, four rebounds, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Seal tallied three points, two rebounds and two assists.
On Friday, Bowling Green was defeated by Parklane Academy, 49-38, on the road.
Seals and Jones both led the team in scoring with 10 points each.
Seals pulled down six rebounds, dished out an assist and made a steal, while Jones went 5-for-7 from the field, grabbed a rebound and she blocked a shot.
McCain posted six points, two rebounds and an assist.
Seal and Anna Claire Crowe had five points each.
Seal tallied nine rebounds, an assist, five steals and she blocked a shot, while Crowe recorded a rebound, two assists and a steal.
Duvall had two points, four boards, an assist and a steal.
Schilling made a steal.
Bowling Green will play in the Poplarville Thanksgiving Invitational, which will be held on Friday at Pearl River Community College.
