Hello, faith-based leaders,
On April 25, I made known that we needed more facemasks and other sanitation supplies distributed throughout the city of Bogalusa.
It was made mention to me about United Way as a possible source. Upon days of corresponding with United Way of New Orleans, it was relayed that a donor was found — United Parcel Service.
I’d like to announce that on Thursday, each church will receive 100 masks, 100 hand sanitizers, and 100 pairs of gloves, via the partnership of United Way of New Orleans and UPS. The supplies will be distributed by pastors/leaders or their representatives’ discretion to their church members. These supplies are for churches in the city of Bogalusa.
If you choose to participate, please be present or have your representative present at the Bogalusa Fire Station located at 200 Arkansas Ave. (next to city hall) at noon on Thursday.
This request was made as part of the COVID-19 preventive plan of action for the good of the entire community. To God be the glory. Best regards and stay safe.
