I was saddened to hear of the death of Gov. Mike Foster. We worked well together on many issues. Notably, some of the local projects included the Bogue Chitto State Park, law enforcement enhancement by reopening the jail facility in Bogalusa, and stabilizing health care in Bogalusa by merging two hospitals into one operation now managed by Our Lady of the Lake.
