Mt. Hermon School’s Sydnei Tullos
Mt. Hermon School’s Syndei Tullos is a three-sport athlete for the Lady Jackets.
The senior plays basketball, softball and runs track/field.
In basketball, she is a point guard, she is a catcher on the diamond and Tullos runs the 1,600 meters and she is on the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams.
In basketball, Tullos was an all-district honorable mention player last season and she was part of a 4×100 relay team that reached the regionals her sophomore year.
Her softball and track seasons were canceled early last season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Sydnei is our only senior this year,” Mt. Hermon girls basketball coach Cheyenne Wilson said. “She has the most experience on the team so I expect her to lead by example and show the young ones how it’s done. She is a smart kid with a good head on her shoulders. What I admire about her most is if she really puts her mind to something she will accomplish it. If there’s one thing I hope she learns from me is that life is hard and no matter what happens you have to keep pushing. You have to be mentally tough to survive!”
