Franklinton’s Demons posted a 1-1 record in games held Tuesday and Wednesday.
In Tuesday’s road game, Franklinton defeated Independence, 61-54, at home.
Cornelius Laurant led the Demons with 15 points that included two 3-pointers.
Keey’ontreh Williams tallied 14 points.
Cam’ron Stewart and Jaheim Jefferson posted eight points each. Jefferson made two 3-pointers.
Isaac Wascom and Tradell Causey had five each. Wascom made a 3-pointer.
Wyatt Lambert had four points.
Keyon Nelson posted two points for the Demons.
On Wednesday, the Demons were defeated by Mandeville, 65-59.
Stewart and Laurant scored 16 points each to lead Franklinton. Both players hit two 3-pointers.
Jefferson tallied 10 points that included a pair of 3-pointers.
De’Airreous Magee posted nine points. He made a 3-pointer.
Wyatt Lambert recorded six.
Causey posted two.
Franklinton’s next game will take place on Tuesday with a road contest against Woodlawn of Baton Rouge.
