The Bogalusa Rotary Club recognized the “Officer of the Year” at Tuesday’s club meeting.

Every year, the Rotary honors first responders and teachers in special award ceremonies.

This year, the Bogalusa Police Department chose Det. Casey Hidalgo as its top officer.
