Ulysses James Wilson Sr., 82, passed away peacefully at his residence in Angie on Monday, April 26, 2021.
A native of Buras for 44 years, James was a retired commercial fisherman. He loved gardening, landscaping and his ministry work as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ulysses Jr. (1980).
His survivors include his loving wife, Lillian (Jones) Wilson; two children, Yolanda and Hosea (Teri); two grandchildren, Hosea and Ella; four surviving brothers, O’Veil, McCoy Jr. (Pat), Douglas and Cornelius (Rose); two sisters, Cathernell Tillman and Shirley Faulcon; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
