Victor Pierce

Victor “Jug” Pierce, born March 13, 1930, passed away Feb. 18, 2015, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital at the age of 84. He was a resident of Sun and was a war veteran. He attended the Methodist church in Sun.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Pierce (Robert) Watts and Tonya Pierce Pierce Parker, both of Sun; a son, Dale Pierce (Tonya) Pierce of Sun; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rondo and Lenora Talley Pierce; his wife, Marylyn “Pug” Pierce; a daughter, Brenda Pierce; two brothers, Ruble Pierce and Everett “Nig” Pierce; and a great-great-grandson, Byron Cade “Bubba” Beaudette.

Visitation will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and resume after 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, until service time at 2 p.m. After religious services the interment will follow in the Jewell Pierce Cemetery in Sun.
