Better Bogalusa was founded on Sept. 25, 2021.

The mission of Better Bogalusa is to address the city of Bogalusa’s structural problems through education and action. The organization plans to heavily recruit local youth to increase advocacy and awareness within the city.

The short-term agenda ranges from fun activities such as pumpkin painting in the month of October to more serious events such as a community march against violence and advocacy day at city hall.

In the long term, Better Bogalusa hopes to serve as an invaluable resource for our city’s youth because they deserve a bright future. Better Bogalusa urges all members of the public, regardless of age, to join so that we can make a huge impact.
