Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks take on Archbishop Hannan on Friday for homecoming night in a District 8-3A contest.
“It’s a big game because it’s the next game,” Bogalusa coach Cyril Crutchfield said. “The only game that’s big is the one that’s at the present. We’ve got to make sure we don’t get distracted with some of the events that are going on and come out and play ball.”
Bogalusa comes into this week with a 3-2 record after a 43-0 win over Albany to start league play.
“They’ve been coming around, learning a new scheme,” Crutchfield said. “Hopefully, they can build off of that, make progress and get better.”
Last week, Ashton Levi went 11-for-16 passing for 241 yards and four touchdowns. Levi also ran for two touchdowns.
Tajdryn Forbes caught four passes for 121 yards and two scores.
Reynis Morris had four catches for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Aquinas Roberts recorded a touchdown catch.

“They’re good at what they do,” Crutchfield said. “They’re extremely well coached, they’re disciplined and they’re never out of place, so we have to be disciplined and execute in all three phases of the games.”
This is Hannan’s district opener.
Last week, the Hawks won against Northlake Christian School, 40-7.
The teams have played each year since 2017 and Archbishop Hannan has won the four games. Last year was a 49-28 contest.
