Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks were defeated by Amite, 74-60, in Monday’s basketball season opener that was held at home.

Sincere Craft led Bogalusa with a great game, as he went for 32 points.

Amare Jefferson tallied 16.

Bogalusa’s next game will take place on Nov. 16 with a road game against Mt. Hermon School.
