Bogalusa’s Public Works Department will begin changing out leaking fire hydrants Monday morning, Jan. 12.

Public Works Director James Hall said the first three fire hydrants that will be worked on are those at Silvert Main and Gaylord Drive, Wildwood and Bourne Avenue and Montgomery Street and North Border Drive.

Crews will begin working at approximately 8-8:30 a.m., and residents in the areas will be without water for approximately three to four hours.

Hall said hydrants all over town are scheduled to be replaced.
