On Thursday, Rayburn Correctional Center’s (RCC) K-9 Unit responded to the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office’s request for help in locating a senior citizen who wandered from her home in the Stoney Point Community around 2 a.m.

The RCC K-9 Unit deployed tracking dogs “Jed” and “Biggie.” The K-9 unit located the senior citizen on Louisiana Highway 10 and provided care until EMS arrived.
