The Washington Parish Free Fair Association has named the Executive Board for the next two years.

Two years is the normal term of office for each officer; however, since the COVID pandemic caused the cancellation of the 2020 fair, officers continued to serve through 2021.

Executive board members are President James Magruder; Vice President Donald Folse, Secretary Kaye Ladner, Treasurer Ellen Waskom, and Building and Grounds Chairman Jason Creel.

At the December meeting, Cole Ladner was thanked for serving a three-year term and his leadership during the cancellation of the 2020 fair, something not done since the 1940s during World War II.

President Magruder assured the committee chairmen present that plans for the 2022 fair are already underway, and urged committees to begin making plans for Oct. 19-23.
