4 Sun Belt softball players named to Extra Elite 100 College Players list

Four Sun Belt Conference softball players have been named to the Extra Elite 100 College Players List by Extra Inning Softball.
The Sun Belt student-athletes on the list include Troy’s Leanna Johnson (No. 66), South Alabama’s Olivia Lackie (No. 71), Texas State’s Jessica Mullins (No. 90) and Louisiana’s Kandra Lamb (No. 97).
All four Sun Belt student-athletes on the Extra Elite 100 College Players List were named to the 2021 Sun Belt All-Conference First Team.
The inaugural list from Extra Inning Softball includes players from throughout NCAA Division I softball. The criteria includes career achievements, most recent on-field history and overall impact on their team and the sport as a whole. Compilation of the list was led by Extra Inning Softball National College Softball Editor Justin McLeod.
Sun Belt softball teams begin play on Friday, February 11. The 2022 Sun Belt Conference Softball Tournament will take place May 10-14, 2022 at Jaguar Field in Mobile, Ala.
