Franklinton downs St. Helena College & Career Academy
Franklinton’s Tray Anders scored 25 and Nick Burkhalter put up 22 in a 79-60 victory over St. Helena College & Career Academy on the road Tuesday.
Jadwyn Warren finished with eight points. Azende O. Magee, Ryché Jenkins and Quincey Stewart posted four each. Azende T. Magee and Resean Hart had three apiece while Ethan Pittman, Born Smith and Sam Smith all logged two.
The Demons are 13-3 this season.
Mt. Hermon victorious over Springfield
Mt. Hermon’s Jessie Pouncey registered 33 points, and Corterio Williams delivered 21 in a 64-59 victory against Springfield in Tuesday’s road contest.
Gerald Bunch posted seven points while Jordan Smith had four. Jack Brister and Joseph Magee added two each in the win.
Pine defeats Sumner
Pine’s Hunter Cooper put up 20 points in a 67-60 victory over Jewel Sumner on the road Tuesday.
Cooper was one of four Raiders in double figures. Ty Galloway finished with 16 points while Jordan Phelps had 15 and Trey Cooper posted 13.
Ben’s Ford falls to Silliman
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Eagles suffered a 54-47 setback to Silliman Institute at home Tuesday in District 6AA play.
Destin Pittman led the Eagles with 13 points
Franklinton tops McMain
Franklinton got past Eleanor McMain, 55-52, in a home game held Friday.
Tray Anders led the way with 20 points. Darrius Dawson had 12 and Azende T. Magee posted nine.
Azende O. Magee recorded six, with Nick Burkhalter and Ryché Jenkins both at three. Resean Hart and Born Smith both added two in the victory.

Mt. Hermon defeats Springfield
Mt. Hermon’s Nicole Riley scored 16 points, helping the Lady Jackets come away with a 45-41 victory over Springfield in a road game held Tuesday.
Jada Norman recorded 13 points while Diamond Pouncey finished with seven. Kalee Hughes had four with Angelica Anthony at three and Shmaya Hart putting up two.
Pine falls to Sumner
Pine’s Lady Raiders suffered a 47-33 loss to Jewel Sumner on the road Tuesday.
Breyanna Brown led Pine with 19 points.
The game was tied, 17-17, at halftime, but Sumner outscored Pine 30-16 in the second half for the win.
Ben’s Ford loses to Silliman
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles lost to Silliman Institute 63-43 in a District 6AA home game held Tuesday.
Liv Miley was the Lady Eagles leading scorer, recording 17 points.
