Franklinton Mayor Greg Route recently honored the Krewe of Pepe during a meeting of the Town of Franklinton.

Minister Cecealine “Pepe” Tate was given a plaque and a key to the city for having the dream to start a Mardi Gras parade for the local children.

It was a surprise to Minister Tate and well deserved, for his community work over the years.
