Franklinton competed in Ponchatoula Invite on Friday

Franklinton’s Demons competed in the Ponchatoula Invite 2022 that took place on Friday.
The Demons 4×800 relay team of Andrew Crain, Jakobie McCormick, Jeremiah Jones and Aiden Moak came in third with a time of 10 minutes, 9 seconds. Destrehan won in 9:10.
McCormick and Franklinton’s 4×200-meter relay team had fourth-place tallies.
McCormick was fourth in the high jump after clearing the bar at 5 feet, 6 inches. Slidell’s JaHyde Williams won at 6-0.
Franklinton’s 4×200 relay team that featured Timarion Partman, Christiun Martin, Sebastian Magee and Brendan Williams ran in 1:40. Slidell won at 1:34.
Magee and Martin ran fifth and sixth in the 110 hurdles with times of 21.69 seconds and 21.72. Destrehan’s Skyler Gayten won in 16.59.
Franklinton’s 4×400 relay team of Eddie Roberts, Ahmod Partman, Moak and Darnell Straughter was fifth in 4:21 with Covington running a 3:48 to win.
Magee and Martin ran sixth and ninth in the 300 hurdles with times of 48.12 and 50.22, as Slidell’s Micaiah Birdlow won in 44.87.
Partman was sixth in the 200 at 25.04. Destrehan’s Phillip Wright won the event in 22.14.
Martin took sixth for the triple jump with a distance of 34-11. Ponchatoula’s Davonte White won at 43-2.
Kelly Daniels and Kollin Williams ran seventh and 11th in the 100 with times of 11.82 and 12.12. Covington’s Kylin Robertson won in 11.41.
Jackson Bickham was seventh for the 400 in 1:05. Wright was the winner in 51.42.
Kael Boyle came in seventh for the 3,200 with a time of 13:52. Fontainebleau’s Benjamin Lewis won in 10:24.
Partman came in eighth in the long jump at 17-11. Slidell’s Mason Stringer won with a distance of 21-11.
Wyatt Lambert came in ninth in the discus at 82-1, as Ponchatoula’s Darrien Brider won at 114-7.
Crain and Boyle ran 11th and 12th in the 1,600 with times of 5:50 and 6:03. Fontainebleau’s Ty Frazier won in 4:34.
Franklinton’s next meet will be Friday at Jewel Sumner.
