Goodyear Park quickly filled up Tuesday afternoon as Annunciation Catholic School presented its Krewe of Mother Goose Parade.

Before the 14 floats rolled, sounds of Mardi Gras filled the loudspeakers and got the attendees in the spirit of the occasion.

MCCA XXXV royalty, King Richard Jenkins and Queen Deni Black, led the parade through the park.

The court included dukes, guards, pages and maids.

Dukes included Cook Byrd, Joe Alonzo, Jeffery S. Russell, John Wyble, Jessie Knight Jr., James Dunaway, Chuck Mizell, Matt Hillhouse, Gary Adams and Lance Stockstill.

Guards included Patrick Black, James Stillwell III, Corbett Russell, Garrett Hicks, Justin Alford, Andrew Arata and Chance Broadway.

Pages included Jessie Knight III, Cameron Nicholson, Aiden Hartzog, Madeline Temples, Ryleigh Sykes, Kate Pounds and Regan Vining.

Maids included Cameron Robertson, Alanna Arceneaux, Sarah Mizell, Laken Spears, Mallory Jenkins, Madisson Pope, Katie Crosby, Pimnara Kumpetch, Alex Wyble and Sarah Jones.

Brayden Fussell rode soon the Down by the Station float, while Max Mangraum and Jaztani Owens were on board the Jack and Jill float.

Also, Chloe Chassion and Addee Pittman were on the Hey Diddle Diddle float, and Bella Cummings was the Queen of Hearts. Beau Brown was on the Boys in the Barn float.

Maddie Paige rode on the There Was an Old Woman float. She was followed by Peyton Hartzog and Phoenix Sanford in the Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater float. Other riders included Ella Galofaro on the Princess and the Pea float, followed by Ian Meyers on the What Are Little Boys Made Of float. Ella Stevens and Savannah Stevens rode on the Ickle Ockle Blue Buckle float.

For the second Hey, Diddle Diddle float, the rider was Liam Collins. Aubrie Melancon was the Queen of Hearts, while Isabella Wheat was on the Mary, Mary Quite Contrary float. On the Little Boy Blue float was Ethan Monk.
